The tour describes my travel experience to Dubai, Sharjah and Abu Dhabi.
Day One:
Dubai Diary:
The Dubai International Airport has three terminals:
The first on the list is Burj Al Arab on the Jumeriah Road. Since the entry to the hotel requires reservation I didn't went inside the hotel.
Next visit to the Jumeriah Mosque one of the largest in the city.
Then its time for Burj Khalifa; the entrance ticket can be sold in several days advance so book your ticket in advance .
Next up is Dubai Marina which houses a beach, mall and lots of coffee shops and restaurants.
Of course you do have option of two walks as well; The Walk and Marina Walk.
The Final stop of the day is the three largest artificial island, the palm islands, each of the islands is in the shape of palm leaf and connected to the main island by free way bridge.
I have a dinner at the Indian restaurant, the evergreen pure vegetarian restaurant, before retiring back to Hotel.
Day Two:
A tour package that covers Abu Dhabi City Tour in one day by private car which picks you and drops off at your hotel.
The Trip covered the following:
Corniche which is where you have the beaches which hold sparkling waters of arabian gulf and is an ideal picnic spot.
Yas Island which houses Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, Yas Mall and Yas Marina Hotel.
Emirates Palace a mesmerizing hotel that is simply stunning.
Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque which hosts large marble domes
Last attraction of the Day is the visit to the Ferrari world a thrill filled park.
Our Car heads back to Dubai and we are dropped off at our hotel; after having dinner its end of day two.
Day Three:
Sharjah one day Tour:
I take the inter city bus no E307 from Diera City Centre Station the fare is AED 7, the frequency is 12 to 20 minutes.
The journey time is one hour and you do not need to do an advance booking as there are ample buses available from as many as six bus stations from Dubai.
I hired a car upon reaching sharjah as the public transport is absent and most taxis are un-metered.
The Blue souq or central souq a shopping centre which is a great place to buy traditional local goods.
The Al Hisn Fort entry fee AED 5, a must see if you visit Sharjah
The Sharjah Archaeology Museum which has huge collections of artefacts, coins and jewellery.
The Sharjah Calligraphy Museum which has some great art work from Arabic countries, the entrance fee is AED 5.
After having lunch its time to take the bus back to Dubai and spend some time shopping at Dubai before heading for dinner at dhow cruise which is an incredible experience when in Dubai.
The end of my visit to United Arab Emirates as I can catch my flight tomorrow morning back home.
